  • No Boston meeting due to holidays

  • 28-Dec-05, now ???: Accessibility testing complete (ongoing; no update)
  • Late January, 2006: RTE component, MSAA accessibility, inlilne <img>, bugs fixed to that date, plus the compier port if stabilized sufficiently. Off of lps-dev.
  • April, 2006: Ginger (see JIRA)

Development

  • Implemented new responder named ResponderXMLDATA on server side to deliver proxied XML data requests as XML content + header info. (hqm)
  • Finishing LFC work on moving proxied data loading to use Flash client (SOLO) parser mechanism (est. 2 more days)(hqm)
  • Met with Max and Tucker about DHTML and Javascript compiler issues (hqm)
  • More updates to Legals pages on wiki, in collaboration with Max and with feedback from the rest of the team. Still more to do here. (jim)
  • Code review of combobox and its base classes and constituent views. Review of active combobox bugs. (jim)
  • Broke buildlfc's incremental feature, and fixed it again (ptw)
  • Discussed using 'mixins' in our class architecture with Jim (ptw)
  • Helped amy (success) and gse (failure) with ssh socks proxy (ptw)
  • Kibitzed with Oliver on an `equalsp` predicate for lzunit (ptw)
  • Ported all the reference classes in the compiler to Java (ptw)
  • Showed Ben how to validate his blog entries (ptw)
  • Kibitzed on Oliver's overridable classes RFC (ptw)
  • Kibitzed on keyboard navigation discussion (ptw)
  • Tried to explain to Jim where AS and Javascript fit in our current compiler (ptw)
  • Helped sallen and ben profiling emerald (ptw)

QA

  • Verifying changes which have trickled in (frisco)
  • Playing with accessibility software (frisco)

Documentation

  • Swtiched back from working in lps-3.1 to lps-dev encountering some red herrings along the way. All was made good by a series of successive "ant cleans", but it took a while because of false clues. (jrs)
  • Had series of interesting conversations with Sean Wheller, a potential contributor He has expressed interest in working on the doctools and documentation, and to judge from his website he may have the skills needed for the job. He has proposed converting our html-based system to docbook. This is a potentially very exciting development. (jrs)
  • Made some edits to a few doc files. Will jump back in with both feet next week.(jrs)

Community

  • Contacted togawa about validator stuff (proosal for feature); followed through on updating existing validator code in incubator w/Jim (am)
  • Rustled up a resume for the QA role in Boston; working to get posted on corp site (am)
  • External wiki: updated status reports (am)
