Meetings

We found a few more problems with the incubator components. Two of the three are fixed and being integrated.
Copyedits coming in this week.

We are considering a late January release to include the RTE component, MSAA accessibility, inline <img>, bugs fixed to that date, plus the compiler port if it has stabilized sufficiently. This would be 3.2, and would be taken from the development branch (internally: lps-dev).

Fixed assertions in assembler to be correct so assertions can be enabled for debugging (ptw)
Checkpointed compiler port, dealt with fallout (missing file, broke doc tools, assumed JAVA_OPTS always defined in environment) (ptw)
Working on porting the "code generator" part of the compiler. (ptw)
checked in support for HTML <img> accessibility API (hminsky)
working on integrating Japanese patch for i18n of server warnings/errors. (hminsky)
started work on <event> tag support per PTW's proposal (hminsky)
answered some questions from mailing list and forums, some

pertaining to unicode and data parsing, and filed a few bug reports and/or test cases. (hminsky)

New API for LzContextMenu changeset out for review (hminsky)
Added support for canvas.accessibility (max)
Began work on DHTML-based object model for OpenLaszlo runtime (max)
Wrote more unit tests for <node> (jgrandy)
Began work on unit testing placement semantics for <node> (jgrandy)
- Began rewrite of LzNode.construct to remove flasm
- Continuing to find bugs in components related to placement. Fixing them as I go
Found two more bugs in incubator components (osteele and jgrandy)
- Fixed one (gradientview)
- Investigating another

Oughta be done copying the Bugzilla items to Jira Monday, after which I will start verifying Quill fixes. (frisco)
