Patch Guidelines

These are the instructions for preparing a patch to submit to OpenLaszlo.
- Sign the Contributor's Agreement, if you haven't already.
- Read the Code Guidelines.
- Create a patch file. This is a zip file that contains all of the files you have changed, together with a change description.
- Mail the zip file with a cover letter describing your change to contributions@openlaszlo.org.
- If the patch is less than five lines of changes to a single file, you can simply send the diff in the content of your message, together with a change description, and skip the zip file.
- You will receive email confirmation that your file has been received.
- Within the week (a day or two if we can manage), a component owner will write back to you telling you whether your patch has been accepted, and whether any changes were necessary.
We will periodicallly announce new contributors to laszlo-announce.
