Mission Statement
Mike Pence writes:
I see the combination of Laszlo and Rails as nothing less than the most enabling stack in software development today. Just look at today's Slashdot headline about the emergence of office apps with AJAX -- http://slashdot.org/articles/05/09/29/000223.shtml?tid=126 -- which is generating significant excitement. Imagine what that level of excitement will be when those browser-hosted apps use a beautiful UI with Laszlo instead of a visually-challenged AJAX app. That is what I hope we can make happen. Don't get me wrong, AJAX is a step in the right direction. But it is cumbersome compared to the unified programming model and appearance that Laszlo allows.
The tutorial is now defunct, as is http://laszloonrails.com/ :( Apparently it was lost as part of a drive crash.
