These test were run over EDGE. I haven't tried on my own WiFi yet.
Calendar DHTML demo loaded in about 15 seconds, never got past the openlaszlo swirly though, so it really didn't start.
LZpiX ran, but suffered the same DHTML problem, it waited for all images to load before positioning items, so things were stacked on top of each other. It took a while to load and start, close to 20 seconds. I may time this again with a stopwatch.
One notable problem with the web browsing is that you need to constantly zoom in and out to click on links. This was exceptionally problematic with some small items in LZpiX, like the button used to close the clips box at the bottom of the screen. Once I managed to get the clips bar open, I could never manage to close it.
It is also difficult, when zooming in and out, to prevent yourself from clicking a link. You have to be careful where you put your fingers as to avoid additional navigation.
